The homeowners envisioned a dynamic space that could transition seamlessly from casual family dinners to lively evening gatherings with friends. Ganshert Landscapes brought that vision to life with a custom-designed paver patio, anchored by a bold fire feature and framed by a warm, architectural pergola.
The large-format pavers were carefully chosen to complement the home’s exterior, creating a grounded yet sophisticated feel. A dedicated dining area and cozy lounge zone invite relaxation and conversation, while lush plantings and curated garden beds soften the lines and bring the whole space to life.
The wooden pergola not only provides structure and style—it visually defines the outdoor kitchen and grilling area, making it both functional and inviting. In the evening, the fire feature becomes a glowing centerpiece, drawing people in and extending the use of the patio well beyond daylight hours.
This project is a perfect example of how thoughtful design can turn a backyard into a true outdoor living experience—timeless, welcoming, and ready for anything.
Not often are my expectations exceeded, however with the whole Ganshert experience we were blown away. Sean did an excellent job layout a plan for our plantings and patio and was extremely diligent in his response time. The crew that came out to install the plant material and haul away our old waste where great to work with.
