Bringing Comfort and Structure to the Outdoors
This project was all about turning an open yard into a defined outdoor destination. At the heart of the design is a custom-built pergola that anchors the space and provides a sense of enclosure without sacrificing open-air charm. Beneath it, a spacious paver patio in a herringbone pattern sets the foundation for multiple seating areas—perfect for hosting or relaxing. A stately wood burning fireplace adds both visual weight and functionality, creating a cozy focal point for cooler evenings. Surrounding plantings soften the hardscape and guide visitors along a natural stone walkway that invites exploration. With balance between structure and softness, this landscape seamlessly extends the home’s living space into the backyard.
